Yeah, Iona had clued me in too. I was thinking the same thing you were, but I think Cayote was probably pretty shaken up when he wrote this, so... it was pretty harsh, but I think it was forgivable.

Hey there. I think allot of people were greatly saddened by this, though not everyone is vocal. Too many good people have been lost this year. I posted this on my space AND here Elsewhere on tribe. It was Iona who clued me to this. Honestly, I only met her once, but anyone could see that she was part of Gen.

You wanna know what's really sad? I'll tell you. That no one in this fucking tribe said one thing niether in the others I have posted. I am so fucking sick of the fact that people tried to understand PTV/3 and didn;t even try to understund what this means. People seem to think the Genesis can just move on from this and tour in a couple months. Not only did they do everything together they were eachother. Did anyone else notice that Genesis said nothing about this. Not because someone else did the talking for him, but because the very person that meant anything to him is gone. This is so fucked up I can't believe that any of you have nothing to say or are just to befounded by this information. Nothing at all as if this is just your common band. Listen when I say this and listen very carefully. A real part of Gen is dead and this is a perioid of mourning not just because she wont be touring this year but because that this is the end of an era. Not for me, not for you but for Gen. I would get over it but no. Anyone who is a TOPI member feels it in thier viens and life this wansn't just music and a person that died it just was. And now was has no meaning without her....... Very, very sad - but unfortunately true: http://www.genesisp-orridge.com/ [Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and her reactivated Psychic TV aka PTV3 are terribly sad to announce the cancellation of their November North American tour dates. This decision is entirely due to the unexpected passing of band member Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge. Lady Jaye died suddenly on Tuesday 9th October 2007 at home in Brooklyn, New York from a previously undiagnosed heart condition which is thought to have been connected with her long-term battle with stomach cancer. Lady Jaye collapsed and died in the arms of her heartbroken "other half" Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. Being overwhelmed by the enormity of their loss, Genesis and the other surviving band members of Psychic TV/PTV3 are not able to properly meet the demands of touring and performance. Obviously, her absence onstage , the conspicuous loss of her unique charisma, music and humour would be an unbearable emotional reality to confront night after night. The group, who have been touring to promote their first studio album in 12 years, will announce future plans after an appropriate period of mourning.] Genesis loved his/her wife so much that (s)he actually underwent breast-enlargement surgery with her on Valentines Day of 2003. They did everything together. This is a really fucking sad loss.
